According to Football Espana, Sanchez has responded to the appearance of the video by claiming he was a victim of blackmail.
"The problem is being handled by the police," he said. "Sharing or disseminating intimate content from anyone without consent is a crime."
Sanchez was appointed by the Costa del Sol club in April. He successfully maintained Malaga's status as a second division club despite heavy financial constraints and off-field turmoil.
Malaga, who failed to promote to La Liga last season, are 16th in Spain's second division league of 22 teams.
