Launching the PSSI official website, the General Chairperson of PSSI, Mochamad Iriawan or who is familiarly called Iwan Bule, explained that in addition to the U19 national team, Tae-yong will also help supervise the U16 national team and the U23 national team. Tae-yong and his assistant will collaborate with a national coach appointed by PSSI.

In his statement, Iwan Bule said that the senior national team was led directly by Tae Yong, assisted by Indra Sjafri and Kim Hae Woon (goalkeeper coach). While the U-23 national team will be led by Indra Sjafri with Kim Woo Jae, the U-19 national team, PSSI will entrust Gong Oh Kyun and Nova Arianto, and the U-16 national team will be led by Bima Sakti.
