Sergio Ramos Still Wants To Prove Himself At PSG And Says Keylor Navas Made It Easier

JAKARTA - Spain defender Sergio Ramos on Tuesday regretted the number of minutes he has played for Paris Saint-Germain this season. He wished he could prove himself again.

Ramos, whose injury has hampered his regular appearances with the club that signed him last summer, said that although it was very difficult to adapt to the city of Paris, the dressing room made it very easy.

"In the beginning it was difficult to adapt, after so many years at other clubs, where you have everything under control, the club, the house, the children's school," Ramos told PSG media channel, quoted by Marca, Wednesday.

"It's not easy to arrive in a city as spectacular as Paris, it's hard to find a home.

"The adaptation with the team was fast, because there were players I had played with before."

Ramos in particular highlighted the role played by Costa Rican goalkeeper Keylor Navas, with whom he has spent several years at Real Madrid and won several trophies, including the Champions League.

"He is my brother," Ramos said of Navas. "We have an amazing and unique relationship at Real Madrid and meeting him here made things easier for me."

Ramos points out that leaving Real Madrid and the Spanish capital has allowed him to appreciate some things.

"Paris has other special and magical things," said Ramos. "It's good to change to appreciate what you've been through and what you don't know.

"You have a broader perspective."
