Persib Bandung Makes It Upright! Rumored To Be Recruiting Former Manchester United Player Shinji Kagawa

JAKARTA - Former Manchester United player Shinji Kagawa has been linked with Persib Bandung. This rumor has surfaced in the last few days and has started to heat up as netizens talk about social media.

Currently, the club nicknamed Maung Bandung still has one slot for foreign players from Asia. The vacant slot became available after they discontinued their partnership with Palestinian international Mohammed Rashid.

While Shinji Kagawa is currently a player for Belgian club Sint-Truiden. However, he was contracted for only half a year until the nearest July.

Thus, the opportunity for Muang Bandung to land the former Borussia Dortmund player is very large.

Director of PT Persib Bandung Dignity, Teddy Tjahjono said that his party was indeed looking for foreign players from Asia. There are several candidates currently being selected.

"Indeed, there are some who are being selected, several candidates. Just wait for the announcement," said Teddy on the Persib podcast.

Persib Bandung continues to try to fix their squad for the 2022/2023 season. So far, they have added several new players to the squad.

Before announcing Fitrul, Persib also officially confirmed the signing of Ciro Alves. The former Tira Persikabo player will get a fairly long contract duration, sure for three years at the club from Bandung.
