JAKARTA - Chelsea will challenge Liverpool in the FA Cup final. This is the second final between Chelsea and Liverpool this season.

In addition to the FA Cup, Liverpool and Chelsea also met in the League Cup final. In that meeting, Liverpool won on penalties.

The meeting of Chelsea and Liverpool in the FA Cup final repeats Arsenal and Sheffield Wednesday's score in the 1992-1993 season. At that time, Arsenal and Sheffield also faced off in the FA Cup and League Cup finals in the same season.

Chelsea's ticket to the final was won after beating Crystal Palace at Wembley Stadium, Sunday 17 April. In this match, Thomas Tuchel's men won with a score of 2-0.

This victory did not come easily. Chelsea could only score in the second half.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek scored the first goal in the 65th minute. After 11 minutes, it was Mason Mount's turn to write his name on the scoreboard.

Chelsea's success in stepping into the FA Cup final equaled Arsenal's record. They are the first team to reach the FA Cup final three times in a row after Arsenal, who did so in 2000/2001, 2001/2002, and 2002/2003.
