Left Behind, Persija Beat PSM Makassar 3-1

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta won 3-1 over PSM Makassar in week 32 of Liga 1 2021/2022. In the match which was held at the I Gusti Ngurah Rai Stadium, Bali on Monday afternoon, the Kemayoran Tigers fell behind first.

Appearing as the host, Persija was troubled by the appearance of PSM Makassar at the beginning of the match. In fact, the visitors' movement took Persija by surprise when in the 15th minute they were able to score a goal through Yakob Sayuri.

Seeing the visitors winning, the Kemayoran Tigers tried to counterattack. A number of opportunities were created by Persija players, but only in 33 minutes the Kemayoran Tigers could equalize to 1-1 through Osvaldo Haay's goal.

This 3-1 victory over PSM made Persija able to pocket the full three points which were very meaningful. Sudirman's team was pushed up to 7th in the Liga 1 standings with a total of 44 points. While PSM stuck in 13th position with 35 points.
