JAKARTA – The work of journalists covering the Mandalika MotoGP is fully supported. Complete facilities are prepared to make work easier and can be accessed at Media Center Indonesia (MCI).

Director of Information and Communication for the Economy and Maritime Affairs (IKPM) of the Ministry of Communication and Information (Kominfo) Septriana Tangkary ensures that the facilities provided by MCI are complete and can be used by media crews while on duty.

"The facilities available at MCI are a press conference room, a workspace with 20 laptop units, a relaxation area with a reflection chair, a printer, and wifi/internet connection," Septriana said in an official statement.

MCI has been operating in the official pre-season test on 11-13 February 2022. This place stands on an area of 500 square meters.

The Media Center will accommodate hundreds of journalists from all media in Indonesia who will attend. The total number of national and regional media registered for coverage at MCI until March 14, 2022 reached 184 media.

The Commander of the Mandalika 2022 MotoGP Field, Hadi Tjahjanto, has directly reviewed the preparation of the MCI Media on Monday, March 14 yesterday. He ensured that the construction of the MCI could be completed on time before the race.

"The development of MCI has no problems and is going well," said Hadi.

MotoGP Mandalika is ready to hold a race on March 18-20. A number of racers who are ready to go there have already started flying to Indonesia.

Some of the riders did not go straight to Mandalika. They had to stop in Jakarta first because they received an invitation from President Joko Widodo to attend the Merdeka Palace.
