After Arhan's Primary To Japanese Club Tokyo Verdy, PSSI Chairman: Keep Indonesia's Good Name

JAKARTA - PSSI General Chair (Ketum) Mochamad Iriawan also released the departure of Pratama Arhan who was going to Japan to strengthen the Tokyo Verdy club. The release ceremony took place at the PSSI Office, Senayan, Jakarta, on Friday, March 4 at noon.

A sense of pride enveloped the man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule when he saw Arhan's achievements. He did not hesitate to call the Indonesian national team player the best player.

"Today is very proud, our best player (Primary) Arhan was taken by a Japanese club, Tokyo Verdy. This indicates that our (football) players can go worldwide." said Iriawan in his speech.

"Congratulations Arhan, you are amazing, I am proud and touched that you can play in Tokyo," he continued.

Furthermore, Iriawan advised Arhan to continue to share his knowledge, especially about long throws, to other young players. Not only that, Iriawan also left an important message for Arhan while in Tokyo.

In addition to maintaining health and the hope of being able to adapt quickly, the chairman of PSSI also emphasized that Arhan could maintain the good name of Indonesia during his career in another country.

"My mandate is for him to be able to play optimally as well as continue to take care of his health, hopefully he can adapt quickly because you have to conquer this weather," said Iriawan.

"Most importantly, keep Indonesia's good name and hopefully Tokyo Verdy can move up to the caste 1 league," he concluded.

Pratama Arhan officially signed a contract to play with Tokyo Verdy last January. The Japanese League's second caste club got this player from Blora for free.

Under the work contract, Primary Arhan will be with Tokyo Verdy for two years. Later, Arhan will wear the number 38 jersey there.
