Memories Of Hero Tito's Figure And Unspoken Hope

JAKARTA - The late national boxer, Hero Tito, has been buried at the Sindurejo Hamlet Public Cemetery (TPU), Banjarejo Village, Pakis District, Malang Regency, East Java, Friday, March 4. The departure of the former world boxing champion to his final resting place was attended by many relatives and family.

The family of the deceased admitted that they were sincere with the departure of Hero Tito. However, there will still be memories of the figure of the man named Heru Purwanto, which is still stored.

Hero Tito's older brother, Siswanto, said the 36-year-old man was patient and kind. He also referred to his younger brother as a polite person, both with siblings and parents.

"He is also patient and disciplined," said Siswanto, as quoted by Antara.

Siswanto explained, Hero Tito has known the world of boxing since he was 11 years old. He was the one who introduced the world of boxing to Hero Tito.

Siswanto said that his younger brother was inspired by him, who at that time was still training at Jaguar, a boxing gym in Malang.

According to Siswanto, Hero Tito's wish has not been realized. Among them is completing a new house which is currently still under construction.

"He has the desire to finish home and pursue the target of playing in Australia," said his brother.

Hero Tito was scheduled to enter the ring in Toowoomba, Brisbane, Australia on March 12, 2022. That's why Rosa Kusuma, Hero Tito's match stylist in Australia, had banned the boxer from appearing at Holywings.

As previously reported, Hero Tito died after being critically ill after the duel at Holywings Jakarta last Sunday, 27 February.

Hero Tito suffered a brain swelling injury after receiving a heavy blow from James Mokoginta in the Holywings Sport Show Boxing ring. He underwent surgery and was hospitalized for several days before he breathed his last.
