Manchester United Transfer: Hunting For Cristiano Ronaldo's Successor

JAKARTA - Manchester United's transfer seems to be still moving even though the market has closed. Reportedly, Ralf Rangnick's club began hunting for a replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

The team nicknamed The Red Devils has prepared several names to fill Cristiano Ronaldo's position later. The first name targeted in the transfer of Manchester United is Napoli player, Victor Osimhen.

Reporting from Rai Sport, the Nigerian player is pegged at 100 million euros. The value is considered decent for a player who has scored 11 goals in 22 appearances for Napoli.

In addition to the name Osimhen, the Premier League club is also eyeing PSV Eindhoven's young player, Cody Gakpo. The player's performance has attracted many clubs.

Noted, Gakpo has scored 13 goals and 13 assists this season with PSV! Of course, MU must be prepared to spend deeply to get the player's service.

Another name in the eye is Juventus star, Paulo Dybala. For this one, MU is believed to have to fight extra hard. Understandably, Juventus seems reluctant to let go of the star player.

Actually, Cristiano Ronaldo's performance at Manchester United so far is still fairly good. Even though he is 37 years old, the Portuguese player is still a goal machine for the Red Devils.

In the Premier League, the former Real Madrid player has scored nine goals and provided three assists in 23 games for Manchester United. He has also scored six goals in the Champions League so far.

However, Manchester United must be prepared to find a replacement. The reason is, Ronaldo has indicated to hang up his shoes considering his age.
