Persebaya Surabaya Agenda 3 Trials Before Clashing With PS Sleman

JAKARTA - Persebaya Surabaya continues to finalize the team's preparations ahead of the League 1 competition in early October. Not long ago, Persebaya won 11 goals over the local team, Bintang Timur.

The plan is that Makan Konate and his friends will hold a number of trials in the remaining two weeks. Coach Aji Santoso said, there were two or three trials before the clash with PS Sleman.

"Certainly, later there will be another trial agenda. At least for the time we need 2-3 trials," said the former coach of the Indonesian national team.

"After the trial we will go there (the match against PS Sleman). So it is already leading to the match," he continued.

However, Aji still keeps the opponents they will face a secret. He then revealed that the trial match would be held behind closed doors.

This policy was carried out to maintain the security and safety of the team from COVID-19. Understandably, this one virus pandemic has not yet been controlled.

"We'll see what it will look like. We are really careful, especially now COVID-19," he said.

Meanwhile, entering the third week of team preparation, Persebaya began to carry out several scenarios. Apart from open play games, Bajul Ijo also did set piece exercises.
