Defeating Sassuolo 2-1, Juventus Challenge Fiorentina In Coppa Italia Semifinals

JAKARTA - Juventus succeeded in picking perfect results in the Coppa Italia quarter-finals against Sassuolo. The Old Lady defeated the opposing team with a score of 2-1 to win tickets to the semifinals.

Appearing at the Allianz Stadium on Friday, February 11 Indonesian Western Time (WIB), Juventus' two-goal victory was confirmed by Paulo Dybala's execution and an own goal from Ruan Tressoldi. Meanwhile, one goal from Sassuolo was made by Hamed Traore.

Juventus' efforts to score a goal finally paid off in the 88th minute. Dusan Vlahovic entered the penalty box from the left despite being heavily guarded by a Sassuolo defender. Vlahovic then fired a shot from a tight angle that hit Ruan and into the Sassuolo goal for an own goal that extended Juventus' lead to 2-1.

With this victory, Juventus has the right to advance to the semifinals to challenge Fiorentina, who previously won 3-2 against Atalanta.

Meanwhile, in the other Coppa Italia semifinals, there will also be an equally tense duel between Inter Milan and AC Milan.
