JAKARTA - Liverpool star Sadio Mane has received a threat to be sent with witchcraft by a shaman. This comes ahead of his participation in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations which will be held on January 9-6 February 2022.

Reporting from CMA Trends, a shaman from Benin, Africa suddenly threatened Mane who would strengthen the Senegal national team in the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

The witch doctor threatened that Mane would die of a heart attack while appearing in the biggest football tournament on the Black Continent.

Responding to the threat, Mane did not flinch or fear. Instead, he gave a classy answer as a devout Muslim. According to him, death is only in the hands of God.

"I grew up believing that death is in God's hands," Mane said in response to the threat.

"I believe that human life does not go forward and does not go backwards. And, I will continue to play in the match normally," he explained.

The player who currently fills Liverpool's wing added that everything that happened, good and bad, was all the plan of the Almighty.

"If I suffer from a heart attack and die on the field, this witch (shaman) is only a means of God's command. So, don't be fooled by him," concluded the star.
