Former Levante And Valencia Player Osagi Bascome Dies From Being Stabbed By An Unknown Person At Party

JAKARTA - Sad news came from European football. Former Levante and Valencia player Osagi Bascome has died after being stabbed by an unknown person.

Quoted from Marca, Thursday, December 23, Bascome died at the age of 23 years. He became the victim of a brutal stabbing while participating in a party on St David's Island.

The same source confirmed that the local police have arrested a 24-year-old man who is strongly suspected of being the perpetrator of Bascome's stabbing.

The stabbing incident began while a party was taking place, then a riot broke out outside the restaurant where the party was taking place. For some reason, one of the perpetrators suddenly attacked Bascome with a knife.

As a result of the stab wounds he suffered, Bascome was then rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, the medics could not save Bascome's life.

Bascome is a Bermuda club player who occupies the attacking position. He started his football career as a youth player for Valencia and Levante before finally signing for Bristol City in 2017.

After trying his life out at Bristol City, Bascome briefly played at Massanassa before joining England's lower caste club, Darlington. After a brief spell at Darlington, Bascome returned to Bermuda to play for St George's Colts in the Bermudian Premier Division.
