After Helping Indonesia Beat Malaysia Through Beautiful Goals, Pratama Anhar Promises To Bring The National Team To The AFF 2020 Final

JAKARTA - The mainstay of the Indonesian national team, Pratama Anhar, has successfully listed his name on the scoreboard. Pratama became one of the goalscorers in the Garuda squad's victory over Malaysia in the final match of the 2020 AFF Cup group phase.

In the match which took place at the National Stadium, Singapore on Sunday 19 December, the national team won 4-1 over Malaysia. On that occasion Pratama also showed a performance that deserves thumbs up.

The 21-year-old player is not only good at defending, but also contributes to Garuda's attack scheme. He created the third goal for the national team when the game was running 50 minutes.

Regarding flashy performances on the field, Pratama is clearly grateful because in that way he can help the national team secure the position of winning Group B. Not only that, this victory also led the national team to advance to the 2020 AFF Cup semifinals.

Unhappy, Pratama also said that his good achievement in this match could not be separated from the hard work of his teammates.

"First, I would like to thank you for being given the victory and the best result today. This is thanks to the hard work of all the teams, staff and coaches," said Pratama Arhan during an online press conference after the match which was also attended by VOI.

As a young player, Pratama is not necessarily satisfied with his achievements for the national team in the final match of this group phase. He actually set the target even further.

The PSIS Semarang player promised to work harder in order to lead the national team to the 2020 AFF Cup final.

"In the future, myself and my colleagues and coaches, we will work harder to advance to the 2020 AFF Cup final," he said with confidence.

After conquering Malaysia, Evan Dimas et al will face the runner-up in Group A as well as the host, Singapore in the semifinals.

The semifinals themselves will be played with a two-legged system, where the first leg will take place on December 22 at the National Stadium, Singapore.
