Mura Vs Tottenham 2-1: Antonio Conte's Squad Must Win In The Last Match In Order To Qualify For The Last 16

JAKARTA - Tottenham Hotspur lost 1-2 when they traveled to the Slovenian team, NS Mura in the Europa Conference League Group G match at the Ljudski vrt Stadium on Friday morning. Harry Kane scored Spurs' goals, while the Slovenian club's goals were contributed by Tomi Horvat and Amadej Marosa.

Tottenham dropped to third in Group G with 7 points, the same as Vitesse who are in second place. Antonio Conte's squad must win the last group game against Rennes if they want to qualify for the last 16.

The hosts immediately created a goal opportunity with nine minutes into play, but Tomi Horvat's long-range strike strayed far from the target.

Two minutes later, Mura just scored a goal. Horvat's shot into the top left corner failed to be saved by Tottenham goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini making the score 1-0.

Tottenham tries to reply. Bryan Gil had a chance to equalize in the 14th minute, but his volley bounced well over Mura's goal.

Disaster struck Tottenham in the 32nd minute after Ryan Sessegnon received a second yellow card for violating Ziga Kous.

Playing with 10 men, Tottenham still played pressing, even getting a good chance in the 37th minute through Harry Kane's low strike after pushing into the Mura penalty box.

In the second half, Conte brought in Son Heung-min to increase attack power. The South Korean striker made a golden opportunity in the 58th minute by carrying out individual actions to stab into Mura's penalty box. Unfortunately, his shot has not been able to beat goalkeeper Matko Obradovic.

Tottenham finally scored the equalizer in the 72nd minute. Receiving Lucas Moura's through ball, Kane calmly tricked Obradovic with a flick into the left corner of Mura's goal. The score is 1-1.

This goal ignited Tottenham's enthusiasm to score the winning goal. However, it conceded again in injury time.

Through a counter-attack, Amadej Marosa stabbed Tottenham's penalty box and then fired a shot that had hit Davinson Sanchez before entering Gollini's goal. The score is 2-1 to close the game.
