Ahead Of The Perisb Vs Persija Match, Robert Alberts Reveals His Big Worries

JAKARTA - The third series of Liga 1 2021 will open with a hot match that brings together two big clubs, Persija Jakarta and Persib Bandung. Ahead of this classic rivalry party, Robert Alberts expressed his big concerns.

The Persib coach expressed concern because he realized that the team's back line was in a vulnerable state. The situation arose because Achmad Jufrianto, who was often the coach's mainstay, was still in the process of recovering from an injury.

“Yes, this is a factor we are still worried about. Because of course Jupe (Jufriyanto) hasn't practiced yet and the target is he starts training on Thursday," Alberts said as quoted from Persib's official website.

Regarding Jufrianto, Alberts also admitted that the player's presence would be very influential for the team later.

"His return will certainly be a great addition to the team."

Alberts' concern is not only about Jufrianto's condition. He was also forced to arrange the team in such a way because Victor Igbonefo was confirmed to be absent due to defending the Indonesian national team.

From the attack line, Alberts was also worried because one of his bombers, Ezteban Vizcara was not in good condition. With the remaining time, the coach still hopes that this situation will improve so that the team has more strength.

"Then Esteban still hasn't trained because he has a bruise on his knee, but it looks better," Alberts explained.

“There are still two training sessions left in Yogyakarta on Thursday and Friday. And if they want to play on Saturday, they have to train first. They are two key players who are expected to return to training."

Even though he had many worries ahead of the match against Persija at the Manahan Stadium in Solo, Alberts still tried to bring the team to appear confident. He even left for Yogyakarta last Wednesday with 25 players of his choice.
