Determined To Bring The Team Back To The Positive Track, Persija Coach: Starts Against Persib

JAKARTA - Persija Jakarta coach, Angelo Alessio is determined to bring his team back to a positive path in navigating Liga 1 2021. He is trying to realize this determination against Persib Bandung.

"I will do my best to get maximum results. Starting against Persib," said Alessio when attending the event with the management of The Jakmania.

Alessio was present at the Joint Meeting held by The Jakmania at Hall B GOR Soemantri on Tuesday, November 16. On that occasion the coach also said that recently the team was inconsistent.

Alessio realizes Persija's achievements in 11 matches or two Liga 1 series this season have not been maximized. The Kemayoran Tigers only won three wins, six draws, and two defeats.

"I understand that you (Jakmania) are frustrated. Persija were not satisfactory enough in the second series. But I make sure that we all have a 100 percent commitment to the team," he said according to a written statement received by VOI, Wednesday.

Furthermore, Alessio also said he would keep trying and give maximum opportunities to all players. He also continues to motivate his foster children to keep the spirit.

"I always try to put the best 11 players in every game. I also always tell the players that they are tigers and have to play like a tiger," said the former Chelsea assistant coach.

The match against Persib Bandung itself was not just a proving match for Alessio. In that match he must be able to present high motivation in order to achieve the prestige of the classic duel.
