The Results Of The Trial Of The Match Fixing Attack Case, The PSSI Komdis Impresses Strict Sanctions

JAKARTA - The PSSI Disciplinary Commission (Komdis) has decided on the results of the investigation into the alleged match fixing case that dragged a number of players from the Liga 2 club Perserang Serang. Based on the trial that was held, Komdis finally imposed strict sanctions in the form of a ban on playing and also a fine.

The decision was delivered directly by the Head of Komdis, Erwin Tobing in a virtual press conference held on Wednesday, November 3. From the results of the trial that took place one day earlier, six names were determined to be involved in the trial match fixing case.

"From the letter that came in, there were five members of the Perserang club who knew about this plan (fixing the score) from Eka Dwi. The five were Fandy Edi, Ivan Julyandhy, Ade Ivan and Aray Suhendry," explained Erwin Tobing.

After announcing the names of the five Perserang Serang players involved in the match fixing experiment, the Komdis Chair also added one other name that was not from the club. The name was also proven to have attempted cheating in the previous match against Rhino Lampung.

"There is another, not from Perserang, but he tried to contact the Perserang goalkeeper, Yogi Triana. This was done so that he could launch a plan against the Lampung Rhino, his name was Diksi Hendika or Odoy," added the Head of Komdis.

After conducting an investigation and trial, the PSSI Komdis then decided to impose sanctions on the perpetrators. Because each person's role is different, the sanctions are different. Here are the details:

1. Eka Dwi Susanto was penalized with a 60-month ban on activities, a fine of 30 million, and a 60-month ban from entering the stadium area.

2. Fandy Edy is subject to a 48-month ban on activities, a fine of 20 million, and a 48-month ban from entering the stadium area.

3. Ivan Julyandhy is subject to a 24 month ban on activities, a fine of 10 million, and a 24 month ban from entering the stadium area.

4. Ade Ivan Hafilah was subject to a 36-month ban on activities, a fine of 15 million, and a 36-month ban from entering the stadium area.

5. Aray Suhendri is subject to a 24 month ban on activities, a fine of 10 million, and a 24 month ban from entering the stadium area.

6. Muhammad Diksi Hendika was subject to a 12-month ban on activities, a fine of 10 million, and a 12-month ban from entering the stadium area.
