JAKARTA - Hyundai Indonesia has no plans to present Bluelink technology for the Ioniq 6 model, which recently officially arrived in the country.

This was expressed directly by the Head of Marketing Department of PT HMID Astrid Ariani Wijana, she said that for now the electric sedan had not been embedded.

"For now, there is no (plan for the bluelink feature)," he said, in Bali, some time ago quoted from the Antara website, Sunday, October 8.

Padahal diketahui fitur yang dapat membantu banyak pengguna tersebut telah hadir di beberapa model, seperti Ioniq, Creta, Stargazer hingga Palisade.

However, it turns out that there is a reason why PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) has not planned to embed bluelink technology, one of which is local assembly. Indeed, the Ioniq 6 model is still in the form of a complete built-up (CBU) from a factory in South Korea.

"Because for Ioniq, Creta to Stargazer have indeed been produced in Indonesia, so it is possible to enter the bluelink feature," added Astrid.

To present the new feature, Astrid said it consisted of several steps, such as manufacturing parties having to install it, to integrate its technology specifically adapted to Indonesia, one of which was like a navigation feature.

Furthermore, he said it was possible that the electric car at a price of almost Rp. 1.2 billion would come with this feature.

"Not yet, but it doesn't rule out the possibility either," he explained.

Hyundai Bluelink is a connectivity technology that has more than 60 features, one of its flagship features including connecting with the Hyundai call center 7x24 hours automatically in case of an emergency.
