Nissan Will Adopt Coupe SUV In Leaf Electric Car, Plans To Launch 2026

JAKARTA - Nissan plans to launch the successor to its electric car, Leaf, in 2026.

This agenda is in the midst of Nisaan's preparation, which plans to produce most electric vehicles or Electric Vehicles (EVs) in 2028.

"The Leaf successor will enter production in 2026," said one Nissan representative, citing Autocar, Thursday, May 18.

The successor to the Nissan Leaf will adopt the Type of Coupe SUV with the CMF-EV platform.

Meanwhile, the bang will be equipped with a powertrain for the electric motor double e-4ORCE driving all wheels (AWD), which has been used at Nissan Ariya.

Nissan is known to have committed to producing electric vehicles with the theme "Nissan Ambition 2030". A total of 23 EV models, 15 of which are planned to be released by the end of the decade.

Currently, four EV models of the plan are being reviewed for embedding Nissan's concept "Chill-Out".

Nissan offers Chill-Out with the intention of offering a different driving experience from other models.

Leaf successors will also use the Chill-Out concept, featuring futuristic designs with the possibility of adapting the latest technology.
