Geely ensures to bring Zeekr to IIMS 2026 by presenting two models at once

JAKARTA - Chinese automotive manufacturer Geely is confirmed to bring its new subbrand, Zeekr, to the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) which will take place in early February.

"Zeekr was introduced at IIMS, two Zeekr models will be introduced specifically at IIMS," said Geely Auto Indonesia Public Relations Manager, Frietz Frederick, in Jakarta, Tuesday, January 28.

Geely shared two silhouettes of the Zeekr car that will be introduced at IIMS, most likely an MPV and SUV which is none other than the MPV 009 and Zeekr X which are already present in several neighboring countries.

The name Zeekr is actually no stranger. Yes, the brand was present in Indonesia in 2024. The model introduced at that time was the Zeekr X which will fill the SUV segment, and the estimated price touched the figure of Rp. 1.1-1.3 billion.

In addition to the SUV model, Zeekr also brought the 009 MPV as a strong challenger to the Toyota Alphard to the Lexus LM Series. This luxury MPV is estimated to cost Rp. 2.25-2.7 billion.

In terms of specifications, the Zeekr 009 comes with dimensions of 5,209 mm in length, 2,024 mm in width, 1,848 mm in height, and 3,205 mm in wheelbase. The interior of this car is equipped with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.05-inch OLED touch screen, while the high center console houses a 50W wireless charging pad.

Mechanically, this electric car is equipped with an NMC 116 kWh battery that can travel up to 582 km on the WLPT count in one charge. And produces 612 PS (603 hp or 450 kW) of power and 693 Nm of torque and will accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Meanwhile, the Zeekr X is available in Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and All Wheel Drive (AWD) versions. For RWD, it produces 272 hp of power and 343 Nm of torque, capable of accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 5.8 seconds. AWD produces 428 ps of power and 543 Nm, and is capable of sprinting this century in just 3.8 seconds.
