JAKARTA - GAC Group and Huawei have a strong commitment to collaborating in various fields, including in the automotive industry. Not long ago, the two gave birth to a new brand called Qijing.

Not only that, the two companies recently signed a comprehensive cooperation framework agreement, according to Autohome's report, quoted, Tuesday, January 6.

According to the agreement, both parties will focus on the joint development of the HarmonyOS ecosystem and joint innovation in cutting-edge technologies such as AI.

Later, it will also integrate the respective advantages in the manufacture of new energy vehicles, operating systems, smart cockpits, and global services to jointly create globally competitive smart mobility solutions.

In the future, GAC Group will collaborate with Huawei to develop customized applications and services tailored to the positioning of various brand models and user needs, enrich the intelligent travel experience in all scenarios under the HarmonyOS ecosystem and accelerate its expansion in overseas intelligent travel markets.

At the same time, GAC will deepen the integration of Xiaoyi intelligent agents with Huawei in the cockpit field, jointly creating a new generation of intelligent cockpits with greater perception and interactivity.

In the field of AI, the infotainment technology in GAC-Huawei Cloud vehicles developed jointly by the two companies has been implemented for the first time on the GAC Aion UT model.

Going forward, GAC will adopt an open and win-win approach, working with partners such as Huawei to fully develop an ecosystem of smart products and services.
