Chery's Subbrand 'Exeed' Expands Product Line, Four New Models Officially Launched

JAKARTA - Chery Group's premium subbrand, Exeed, officially launched four new models, namely ES8, ES7 GT, ET8, and ET9. Their presence expands the ES and ET product lines.

CNevpost, Tuesday, December 23, the brand launched vehicles at the Exeed Brand Night event, and also stated their entry into the 3.0 era with the goal of becoming a global innovator.

Closer to the four models above, the Exeed ES8 and ES7 GT adopt a shooting brake design, while the ET8 and ET9 are modern SUVs.

Exeed states that its ES series prioritizes performance, with the ES7 GT featuring sport suspension and 0-100 km/h acceleration in under 4 seconds.

Exeed plans to launch more than three new models in the next 10-20 months. Previously, on November 28, Exeed launched the ET5 mid-size SUV, which started the ET series lineup.

The four newly announced models are part of Exeed's sales revitalization efforts after unsatisfactory performance over the past year.

From the data shared, Exeed sold 97,706 vehicles from January to November, down 23.93 percent from 128,438 units in the same period last year.
