Mitsubishi Fuso Distributes Donations To Free Service Services For Sumatra Flood Victims

JAKARTA - PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the official Mitsubishi Fuso distributor in Indonesia, shows its concern for people affected by flash floods in Aceh, West Sumatra, and North Sumatra at the end of November 2025. Through an emergency response program, KTB distributed various assistance to meet the basic needs of survivors.

The assistance provided includes ready-to-eat food, basic necessities packages, sanitation equipment, and public kitchen support. Distribution is carried out in collaboration with social institutions experienced in disaster management, to ensure aid is right on target.

KTB hopes that this contribution can help people who are still surviving at evacuation points during the emergency response period. As stated by the President Director of PT KTB Daisuke Okamoto.

"We are very touched to help the people of Sumatra who are being hit by severe trials. Hopefully what we provide can be positive energy for the community to get through these difficult times," he said in his official statement, Tuesday, December 9.

In addition to humanitarian assistance, KTB also presents the FUSO Cares for Sumatra' program as a form of support for affected Fuso consumers. Through this program, KTB eliminates Mobile Workshop Service (MWS) visits, provides towing services to nearby dealers, and provides vehicle checks.

Starting from badminton, general check-ups, to checking engines and electricity. Consumers also get discounted spare parts prices of up to 30 percent and overhaul service costs of up to 40 percent.

"We are ready to provide support for all consumers in the Sumatra area. Our dealers around the disaster site have been equipped with MWS vehicles to reach consumers in need. If spare parts are needed, the FUSO Care for Sumatra program can be utilized by consumers," said Sales & Marketing Director of PT KTB Aji Jaya.

KTB also released a list of 10 official Mitsubishi Fuso dealers in Aceh, North Sumatra, and West Sumatra who continue to operate fully to assist consumers in maintenance and repair of vehicles during the post-disaster recovery period.
