JAKARTA The Yamaha Youth Community (Y2C) Got Talent program is entering its determination stage. After going through School Stage to Regional Stage in five cities, namely Jakarta, Bandung, Yogyakarta, Makassar, and Pekanbaru.

Now, finalists are now preparing to fight in the Grand Final National Stage at Anjungan Sarinah Mall, Jakarta, Saturday, November 29. Before appearing, they were first gathered in ChampZone, a self-development room designed to bring together finalists and facilitate the process of growing together.

This year's diversity of talents is one of the attractions of the Y2C event. Finalists are present from various disciplines, ranging from singing, modern dance, traditional dance, storytelling, to pencak silat. Despite carrying out the concept of competition, Y2C is also directed to be a forum for character formation and creativity of the younger generation.

Therefore, ChampZone was created as a learning zone and collaborated, not just competition. This is also a commitment of Yamaha Motor Indonesia to continue to support today's young generation who have a variety of talents.

"Through this Y2C event, we also want to encourage young people from an early age to be able to develop their character, confidence, and creativity so that ChampZone is held to become a growth room, learning room, and space to celebrate shared talents for finalists," said PR Manager, YRA, & Community PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg. Rifki Maulana, Saturday, November 29.

The series of activities at ChampZone provides important provisions for finalists, ranging from an understanding of building positive images on social media, how to create relevant content, to digital ethics. They are also trained to speak in public to increase self-confidence and the ability to effectively convey messages. In addition, the team building session was held to grow sportsmanship, cohesiveness, and mutual respect.

Not stopping at the soft skill briefing, finalists get the opportunity to visit the Yamaha Indonesia factory to see firsthand the process of producing modern-tech motorcycles with international standards.

The factory has also won the Green Proper award as a form of Yamaha's commitment to the quality and sustainability of the environment. This experience provides a new perspective for finalists regarding the automotive and technology industry behind products they know everyday.

"Honestly, I was very happy and didn't expect to qualify for Jakarta for ChampZone Y2C because we were given new lessons that are very important nowadays, such as creating content on social media and getting more exciting because we were invited to travel with new friends to the Yamaha factory," said the finalist from Pekanbaru Syafira Isni Putri.
