100 BJ30 Hybrid BAIC Units Launch To Consumer Garasi

JAKARTA - PT JIO Indonesia Distribution as the official distributor of BAIC in the country officially started sending the first batch of the BAIC BJ30 Hybrid SUV to consumers. A total of 100 units are ready to be sent to consumer garages in various regions.

This handover after recording more than 200 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK) from July to the end of November 2025. As a sign of the start of national distribution, BAIC Indonesia held a symbolic handover ceremony to the first 10 consumers.

The procession took place at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) which was held at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Sunday, November 23. This moment is a form of BAIC Indonesia's appreciation and commitment to customers who have first given confidence in its newest hybrid product.

"The achievement of more than 200 SPKs shows strong acceptance of BJ30 Hybrid. The start of this national shipment affirms our commitment to provide the best quality of products and services for consumers," said COO BAIC Indonesia Dhani Yahya, quoted from his official statement, Monday, November 24.

The initial delivery includes a number of strategic areas, ranging from Jabodetabek, Batam, Medan, Pekanbaru, Palembang, Samarinda, Semarang, Surabaya, Denpasar, Makassar, to Yogyakarta. All units are distributed in stages through the official BAIC dealers network in each region.

BAIC Indonesia expressed its appreciation for the high public interest in BJ30 Hybrid. The acquisition of more than 200 SPKs reflects the market's positive response to a hybrid SUV that carries a combination of fuel efficiency, driving comfort, and modern design.

In the future, BAIC is optimistic that the delivery of the next batch will be wider along with the increase in distribution capacity and expansion of sales networks in various parts of Indonesia. Not only that, all BJ30 Hybrid owners are automatically members of BAIC ORV Club Indonesia, the official community of BAIC users.

Through this community, consumers can participate in various activities such as outdoor activities, touring, and product education to strengthen relations between BAIC users in Indonesia.

Regarding specifications, BJ30 relies on the Magic Core Hybrid Drive A156T2H-H1 engine combined with DHT 2-speed transmission, making this car claimed to be able to accelerate 0100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, with fuel efficiency reaching 15.5 km/l and a range of up to 1,000 km.

The BJ30 electric entire-wheel drive system (electric 4WD) is also said to be able to respond within 0.03 seconds, has a wheel torque of up to 5,928 Nm, with an active torque distribution of up to 50:50, the largest in its class.

Based on the manufacturer's claims, the consumption of BJ30 Hybrid BAIC fuel reaches 15.5 km/liter. With a total tank capacity of 51 liters, the unit can cover a distance of 1,000 km.
