Orders To Touch 1,500 Units, Wuling Handover Unit MPV Darion At GJAW 2025

JAKARTA - Wuling held a handover ceremony for the Darion model at the Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event, as well as a symbol of the start of the distribution of the Darion unit to consumers in Indonesia.

On this occasion, Wuling symbolically handed over the unit to Darion consumer representatives and became the beginning of the delivery process to various other cities.

Wuling highlighted the positive response to Wuling Darion, the latest electrification MPV aimed at modern Indonesian families. Since its launch, Darion has received high enthusiasm through a series of national and regional launch activities. Darion's presence is an important part of the evolution of Indonesian family mobility which prioritizes efficiency, comfort, and technology.

Marketing Director of Wuling Motors Ricky Christian, expressed his gratitude for the public's trust and enthusiasm for Darion.

Until today, Darion has been ordered by 1,500 customers. This support is an encouragement for Wuling to continue to provide innovations that are relevant to Indonesian families," he said, during a speech at ICE BSD, Friday, November 21.

Present at the EV option, Darion is equipped with a safe and high-performance Magic Battery Pro, capable of producing a distance of up to 540 kilometers. The 150 kilowatt electric motor features both strong and smooth performance, and is supported by the DC Fast Charging feature which allows the charging process to take place shorter.

The presence of this EV variant is to provide a modern and environmentally friendly electrification line choice for Indonesian families. In addition to the EV variant, Darion is also available in the PHEV choice which makes him the first MPV PHEV title in Indonesia.

This model is built on the Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS) platform designed to maximize battery capacity, fuel tank volume, and cabin space utilization. In addition, WFMS also provides an optimal driving experience with high safety standards.

This technology is combined with an LING Power Hybrid System which ensures that Darion's performance remains energy efficient, powerful, smooth, and reliable for various usage conditions.
