More Aggressive! GAC Make Sure To Bring The PHEV And EREV Lines To Indonesia

JAKARTA - GAC Indonesia seems very serious about working on the national automotive market, even the brand from China has prepared a promising long-term strategy.

Currently GAC Indonesia only launches electric cars, such as Aion Y Plus, Aion V, Hyptec HT and most recently there is Aion UT an electric car suitable for young people to dynamical families.

In fact, GAC Indonesia plans to enter the Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) segment, this certainty was revealed by Aion Indonesia Chief Executive Officer Andry Ciu.

"It must be launched (PHEV)," he said, when met in the PIK area, Thursday, October 30.

Andry Ciu said, in the future with the emergence of the company's GAC not only selling electric cars, but targeting other segments.

"With the GAC logo appearing, we will not only sell EVs. There will also be PHEVs and EVs," he added.

Unfortunately, he did not elaborate in more detail on the strategy, but that way there will be many more car models that will enliven the national automotive market.

One model that is alleged to be present in Indonesia next year is the MPV E9, which has been exhibited by the Chinese brand several times. Of course, it is worth waiting for a breakthrough from GAC Indonesia.
