Exeed Exlantix E05 Becomes A Hybrid SUV With A Tempuh Distance Of 1,300 Km

JAKARTA - Premium Exeed brand from Chinese manufacturer Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. officially launched its newest mid-size SUV, Exeed Exlantix E05. This model has begun to appear on the dealer network as a preparatory step before its official launch on the Chinese market.

In dimensions, the E05 Exlantix has a length of 4,780 mm, a width of 1,890 mm, a height of 1,725 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. The exterior design appears modern with a closed grille, a shell-shaped main light, as well as a LiDAR sensor and radar that supports advanced driver assistance systems.

Entering the cabin, the E05 Exlantix interior carries a futuristic concept with three 15.6-inch central screen digital screens, 10.25-inch instrument panels, and 12.3-inch front passenger screens. As reported by Carnewschina, Saturday, October 25.

Its infotainment system uses the Snapdragon 8255 chip, complete with an AI-based voice assistant from iFlytek and DeepSek. The convenience feature is also the advantage of this car.

The front seat is equipped with electrical settings, heating, ventilation, to massage functions, and there is a pass key' to adjust the position of the front passenger seat so that the leg space behind is more spacious. The Exeed Exlantix E05 builds on the E0X platform.

Which, using a hybrid system with a 1.5 liter turbo gasoline engine as a generator combined with an electric motor in the rear wheels. This combination produces a maximum power of 195 kW or the equivalent of 265 horsepower and 324 Nm torque, while the generating engine itself produces 115 kW of power.

This SUV is equipped with a lithium-ferro-phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 32.66 kWh, which allows for pure electric driving for 205 kilometers. In full hybrid mode, the total distance is claimed to be able to penetrate 1,300 kilometers, making it one of the SUVs with the highest efficiency in its class.

For safety and driving assistance, Exeed embeds the Falcon 700 system, powered by the 6P Horizon Robotics Journey chip. The system utilizes up to 12 radars and 1 LiDAR unit on the roof, supporting semi-autonomous functions such as automatic parking and path assistance.

Although it has been exhibited at several dealers, the official launch of the Exeed Exlantix E05 is scheduled to take place at the Guangzhou Auto Show 2025 in November. This car is projected to be the main competitor to BYD Song L DM-i, Sealion 06 DM-i, and Leapmotor C11 in China's medium hybrid SUV market.

With a combination of elegant design, high technology, and impressive travel distance, the Exeed Exlantix E05 is a strategic step for Chery to strengthen their position in the premium electrification segment.
