Chery Tiggo 8 CSH Loss Of Power, Here's CSI's Response

Chery responded to consumer complaints regarding power loss in its latest model, Tiggo 8 CSH. This condition is certainly a concern, especially since the model recently launched.

Through the Head of Brand Department Chery Sales Indonesia, Rifkie Setiawan, said that everything is related to technology and is in one software.

"So a combination of software that is not present, so it's really perfect right away. There are some that may need to be updated, there are bugs, now it's normal in terms of technology, we just have to check what kind of technology and if for example we need update software, we update and others," he said, when met in Karawang, at the end of last week.

When asked about there will be a recall he said no, because the problem did not happen to the whole (car). More to personal ones who need analysis only.

"The mass withdrawal is not because this is not an overall problem, not a general one," he added.

According to him, the complaints received have been handled with the after sales team at dealers and the Indonesian Chery Sales (CSI). But sometimes there are limitations.

Sometimes there are limitations from the dealer to, for example, he has to give a replacement car and others. So sometimes consumers feel yes because if they are placed in the workshop, maybe for him there are obstacles, right? for mobility and others, "he explained.

Chery Tiggo 8 CSH itself first launched in May this year. The car became the first SUV to be embedded with Super Hybrid Chery technology. Carrying the spirit of Revolution of Mobility, Chery Tiggo 8 CSH comes as an answer to various mobility challenges in Indonesia, such as environmental issues (global warming, climate change) and the need for efficiency in long trips (homecoming/long drive).

In terms of the kitchen runway, Tiggo 8 CSH is embedded with an ACTECO H4J15 engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc turbo, which is developed exclusively for the fifth generation Chery Super Hybrid platform. This machine is capable of generating power of 143 PS and torques of up to 215 Nm and electric motors with a maximum power of 204 PS and 310 Nm torque with very efficient fuel consumption, reaching 76+ Km/liter based on NEDC (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIT) testing.
