Jetour Opens The Possibility Of Bringing The PHEV Model To The Indonesian Automotive Market

JAKARTA - The interest of the Indonesian people in environmentally friendly vehicles in Indonesia continues to increase. Not only pure electric cars, hybrid segments to plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) are now also increasingly crowded with the presence of many new players.

Jetour Indonesia turns out to be planning to play in this segment. This was revealed by the Marketing Director of PT Jetour Motor Indonesia, Moch. Ranggy Radisyah.

"Jetour has a global level roadmap that includes ICE, PHEV, and EV types in its product series, so every vehicle that comes is relevant to consumer needs in various segments," he said, when contacted by VOI, Friday, August 29.

He further said, for Indonesia itself, Jetour is currently introducing an ICE-engined model first, and in the future, along with infrastructure readiness and increased adoption of electrification vehicles.

"We will assess and adapt the strategy to present a hybrid model or electrification that fits the local market," he added.

As is known, currently Jetour has several car lines up. Starting from Dashing to X70 Plus. This Chinese brand has also removed its electric car cover, namely T2, another T1 which is being tested by roads in Indonesia.

Of course, it is interesting to look forward to the penetration of Jetour to present various of its newest car models, including in the hybrid to PHEV segments.
