Suzuki Furnx Laris Manis, Total Production Reaches 500 Thousand Units

JAKARTA - Maruti Suzuki India Limited today announced that its flagship Coupe SUV, Frenx, has earned success since its debut at Auto Expo 2023, this car has been produced by 5 chickens or 500 thousand units.

Quoting from the Rushlane page, Friday, August 22, this car also received a warm welcome in Indonesia due to its stunning design, performance, and feature packages.

The car also emerged as the highest export-level passenger vehicle in the fiscal year 2024-2025 and was included in the top 10 best-selling cars in the domestic market in the same period.

Managing Director & CEO of Maruti Suzuki India Limited Hisashi Takeuchi, said she was very grateful to customers for choosing Tronx as their preferred vehicle and making it one of India's best-selling Compact SUVs.

"This milestone reflects the manufacturing advantages and acceptance of Indian customers to futuristic design vehicles. With its bold style, the best fuel efficiency in its class, and advanced technology features,front quickly gained popularity in the domestic and international markets," he said.

This car is quite interesting, it has even succeeded in attracting consumers with a total of 100 thousand units within 10 months. With the highest sales, thefront occurred in February 2025 with a distribution of 21,400 units.

Tronx is also the first Indian-made SUV to be exported to Japan. Apart from Japan, this car was also shipped to various other regions such as Latin America, the Middle East, and Africa.

This car itself has arrived in Indonesia, and is also a new prima donna where Wholesales June-July 2025, Frox has been distributed with 3,979 units.

For Indonesia, the Suzuki Funx has been produced locally at the PT Suzuki Indomobil Motor (SIM) factory in Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java. This car has a high level of domestic components (TKDN). Based on information from the Ministry of Industry, Suzuki Fronx has a TKDN of 60 percent.
