JAKARTA - Ford's single brand holder (ATPM) in Indonesia, RMA Indonesia has confirmed that it will launch at least two new models for the national market this year. Now, the company is providing more details about this latest car.
Country Manager of RMA Indonesia, Toto Suharto said the latest model is the latest variant of the ranks of Everest in Indonesia and one other car was exhibited at the 2024 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event, which hinted at the presence of the Mustang.
"In the future, we want to complete the Everest model in Indonesia and one of the models we displayed on GJAW yesterday," Toto said when met by the media during a breaking of the fast together with the media in the Kebayoran Lama, Jakarta, Monday, March 10.
He said the Mustang that had been exhibited at the GJAW event had many enthusiasts and was expected to fulfill its desire as a consumer Dream vehicle in Indonesia.
"There are quite a lot of interested people, so we want to continue the aspirations for Ford lovers in Indonesia and the vehicles they dream of will be coming soon," explained Toto.

Toto did not want to reveal further about the launch date, but it is certain that the launch will take place after Eid and before entering the 2025 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS).
"The launching plan is of course after Eid, but before entering GIIAS," explained Toto.
At the end of last year at the GJAW 2024 event, RMA Indonesia stole the show by showing off the Mustang variant of EcoBoost which also hinted at its presence in the national market in the future.
Ford Mustang EcoBoost has a 2.3 liter 4-cylinder straight engine that gives power boosts reaching 315 hp and torques of up to 475 Nm. Its performance is assisted by the transmission of acceleration of ten automatic accelerations known to be responsive.
