Toyota Achieves 2,728 SPKs Throughout IIMS 2025, This Is The Best Selling Model

PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) made a positive sales achievement during the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, which ended on February 23.

In this exhibition, Toyota recorded 2,728 Vehicle Ordering Letters (SPK) which were dominated by this Japanese brand MPV vehicle, which is suitable for customer needs in the country.

From the data received by VOI, the best-selling model in this year's event is a production Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV) model, localized Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid. The laris of this model is claimed to be due to its competitive price and easy to apply during the energy transition.

If in more detail, Toyota sales at IIMS rose 7.4 percent from last year which was claimed to be driven by an increase in sales of electrified vehicles. For hybrid model sales, Kijang Innova Zenix HEV recorded 614 SPK. Toyota Avanza with 335 SPK occupies the second position followed by Rush in third place with 216 SPK. Kijang Innova Zenix Gasoline follows in fourth place with 181 SPK, and Innova Reborn gets 174 SPK so it is in fifth position.

Vice President Director of PT Toyota Astra Motor (TAM) Henry Tanoto, expressed his appreciation for the customer's enthusiasm for Toyota products at IIMS 2025, especially for the choice of electrification vehicles such as Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid which again dominates.

"Government support through the provision of tax incentives, as well as preparation for the Eid holiday further increases public interest in environmentally friendly vehicles," said Henry Tanoto, in an official statement received on Saturday, March 1.

He further said that positive achievements towards Kijang Innova Zenix Hybrid are also a positive signal that the auto industry, especially Hybrids, will continue to move up in line with the trend of environmentally friendly mobility.

"At the same time pushing the wheels of the economy because it is produced domestically," he added.

In addition to positive sales, Toyota also won three prestigious awards at the IIMS 2025 event, starting from Toyota Agya who won the Best City Car, then there was Hilux Rangga who became Favorite Commercial Vehicle and there was Toyota Alphard as Best Premium MPV.
