Volvo Releases EX30 Cross Country, Mungil Electric SUV Capable Of All Medan

JAKARTA - The Swedish automotive manufacturer Volvo has officially introduced the latest variant, the EX30 Cross Country. As the name implies, this pure electric-driven model (EV) is designed to pass through various terrains.

This also marks the return of the name 'Cross Country' in the Volvo car lineup after it was last available on models like the V60 wagon a few years ago.

Volvo CEO Jim Argentan said the presence of the car was to make it easier for users to pass through snowy areas with cold temperatures in the Swedish region.

"In Sweden, we are facing extreme winters, but we also want to make the most of it by going out and exploring our amazing nature, even when we are at a temperature of minus 20 degrees. That's why we want to provide a comprehensive experience to EX30 Cross Country subscribers."

This car has a proportion of dimensions and designs resembling a standard EX30, but is more resilient. In order to support the various needs of all terrain, the EX30 Cross Country has a 'Cross Country Experience' package which includes cargo carriers, basketball roofs, mudflaps, and 18-inch rims with all-terrain tires.

This compact SUV has a shield on the front and the presence of a trunk cap that has a special dark color. The front is designed to resemble the topography of the Kebnekaise Mountains, Sweden.

Thick front and rear skidplates as well as wheelarch extensions complete a stronger display and confirm that this car is ready to explore the wild.

The interior is designed functionally with the presence of various storages. Your pocket has a large storage compartment that was previously a place for speakers and moved it into a soundbar on the dashboard.

There is a versatile center storage area between the driver and the passenger that can be shifted to a cup or store more items.

Just like other Volvo cars, EX30 Cross Country is available with high safety standards. The car has braking support and steering that helps it avoid collisions when the vehicle is traveling.

The Volvo EX30 Cross Country has a battery package that provides a distance of 427 km in one charge and can charge energy from 10 to 80 percent in just 26 minutes with fast-charging devices.

This tough little car can already be ordered for several markets and will be delivered to customers starting the spring of 2025.
