This Year's Volvo Expansion Will Launch Five New Models, Anything?

JAKARTA - Volvo Cars confirmed that five new or refreshable models will be launched in 2025, and several other models in the following year.

Citing from the CarBuzz page, Tuesday, February 11, the Swedish brand announced the certainty at a financial report event for 2024, which also revealed an increase in shipments and revenues.

For 2025, the first model that is certain to launch is EX30 Cross Country, a pure electric SUV that will debut this month. Your presence is certainly highly anticipated for Volvo users.

In addition to this model, Volvo also confirmed that ES90, which was revealed last year, is likely to be a substitute for the luxury S90 electric-powered sedan and was also introduced this year.

In addition to the models above, Volvo will also provide a refresher for its two models, one is most likely an obsolete XC60, and refinement is expected to be the same as the facelift version of the CX90 model. One more model that glides is the PHEV version specifically for the Chinese market.

Not only that, this brand one model also plans to expand its product lineup as part of the plan to hold 10 launches in the next two years.

Two new models will be introduced later on the basis of the SPA3 platform, which will use Tesla's initiated same megacasting production technique. It is unclear what model will be introduced for the first time in 2026, but the model will be smaller than the upcoming SPA2-based EX90 and EX60.
