HMID Make Sure To Bring One New Model To IIMS 2025, Hyundai Venue?

JAKARTA - One of the largest automotive events in the country, the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025 will start in a matter of days. The annual exhibition will be held on February 13-23 and take place at JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta.

The exhibition is a forum for brand-holding agents (APM) in offering their newest products for the Indonesian market. One of the brands that will be present at this event is Hyundai.

Head of Public Relations of PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID), Badminton Simanjuntak, said that his party would launch at least one of the latest products at the exhibition.

"At IIMS 2025, there will be one new Hyundai product to complete the vehicle line in Indonesia," saiddyat his presentation at the St Regis Hotel, Kuningan, Jakarta, Tuesday, February 4.

Although the details were not disclosed, it is estimated that the latest car is Venue. This can be seen from the silhouette displayed at the APM presentation ahead of the IIMS 2025 event.

Previously, the Hyundai Venue had been included in the DKI Jakarta Province Motor Vehicle Selling Value List (NJKB). The small SUV will be present in the 1.0 liter engine variant with automatic transmission (AT) and dual-clutch (DCT) as well as a 1.2 liter machine type with manual transmission (MT). It is stated that the selling value of this model starts from IDR 155 million to IDR 180 million.

However, keep in mind that the prices listed on the NKJB website do not cover all sales taxes such as BBNKB, PPh, VAT, and others. So that the actual price is different when this car is marketed in Indonesia.

Now, Hyundai Venue has been sold in several major markets, consisting of India, South Korea, the United States (US), Canada, South Africa, and Australia.

It is estimated that the model to be sold in Indonesia has a 1.0 liter Kappa T-GDi engine that has a power of up to 120 ps and a torque of 172 Nm. This will coincide with the 1.2 liter Kappa option which provides 83 ps of power and 115 Nm of torque.
