Claimed to be Fuel Efficient, Jaecoo J7 Will Prove Its Toughness in Tacking the Jakarta-Bali Route with a Distance of 1,200 Km

JAKARTA - The Indonesian automotive market will welcome another new brand, this time under the auspices of Chery, namely Jaecoo, which will bring the J7 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) model.

The brand will later test the J7 PHEV on the Jakarta to Bali route, covering a total distance of 1,200 kilometers to demonstrate its performance in typical Indonesian driving conditions.

"We are committed to presenting high-quality vehicles that combine innovative technology with extraordinary performance," said Jaecoo Indonesia Director Max Zhou, in his official statement received on Thursday, January 9.

Max Zhou further revealed that the Jaecoo J7 PHEV is not only superior in fuel efficiency but also provides an extraordinary driving experience thanks to the Super Hybrid System (SHS) from Jaecoo.

Previously, this model recorded an extraordinary achievement by traveling 1,353 kilometers on just one tank of fuel in a global long-distance challenge. This challenge involved the participation of seven countries, starting from Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, and the United Kingdom, which culminated in a spectacular journey from Guangzhou to Wuhu, China.

During the global challenge, the Jaecoo J7 PHEV demonstrated extraordinary efficiency by recording an average fuel consumption of only 3.3 liters per 100 kilometers. In addition, this vehicle managed to achieve a pure electric range of 125.2 kilometers, exceeding initial expectations with an achievement rate of 139 percent.

These figures prove the vehicle's ability to optimize the use of fuel and electric power, offering an attractive solution for today's drivers.

Max Zhou said that the Jakarta to Bali challenge will be an opportunity to bring this global achievement to Indonesia.

"This is about showing Indonesian drivers the future of sustainable mobility, where efficiency combines with driving pleasure," he concluded.
