JAKARTA - The Indonesian automotive market will have another new brand, this time under the auspices of Chery, namely Jaecool, which will carry the J7 Plug in Hybrid Electric Vehicles (PHEV) model.

The brand will later test J7 PHEV with the Jakarta to Bali route, where the total traveled 1,200 kilometers to show its performance in a typical Indonesian driving condition.

"We are committed to presenting high-quality vehicles that combine innovative technology with extraordinary performance," said Jaecool Indonesia Director Max Zhou, in an official statement received on Thursday, January 9.

Max Zhou further revealed that the Jaecool J7 PHEV is not only superior in fuel efficiency, but also provides an extraordinary driving experience thanks to Jaecoo's Super Hybrid System (SHS).

Previously, this model recorded extraordinary achievements by traveling a distance of 1,353 kilometers with only one fuel tank in global long-range challenges. This challenge involved the participation of seven countries, ranging from Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, and the UK, which culminated in the spectacular journey from Guangzhou to Wuhu, China.

During this global challenge, Jaecool J7 PHEV showed extraordinary efficiency by noting that the average fuel consumption was only 3.3 liters per 100 kilometers. In addition, this vehicle managed to reach a pure electric distance of 125.2 kilometers, exceeding its initial expectations with an achievement rate of 139 percent.

These figures prove the vehicle's ability to optimize the use of fuel and electric power, offering an attractive solution for today's drivers.
