JAKARTA - Lamborghini is preparing its first electric car based on the Lanzador which will be launched towards the end of this decade. Before becoming a production model, it is known that this Italian manufacturer is studying other high-performance EV cars such as the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N.

Launching from Motor1, Tuesday, January 7, a Hyundai Ioniq 5 N was caught on camera and was seen passing outside and entering headquarters from Lamborghini, precisely in Sant'Agata Bolognese, Italy.

In the video, the track, which is usually traversed by a camouflage-clad supercar from Lamborghini, is now traversed by the electric crossover. Surprisingly, the manufacturer with the banteng bandgo goes berserk is not shy about testing the Hyundai Ioniq 5N with a striking performance Blue pattern.

However, there is a possibility that the car is owned by employees at the facility. However, it would be very interesting if Lamborghini studied more deeply about the high-performance EV from Hyundai.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 N has been a byword since its launch in mid-2023 which also proves that high-performance cars can come with electric powertrains.

This car itself is powered by a powertrain of a dual electric motor powered by 641 hp which is equivalent to a supercar from Lamborghini such as Mangur and Huracan.

Meanwhile, the brand founded by Ferrugio Lamborghini confirmed that it will launch its first EV based on the Lanzador in 2029 or a one-year delay from previously announced.

Lamborghini CEO Stephan Winkelmann said this step was taken because he saw the sport car market currently not ready to move to full electrification. Previously, the Italian manufacturer announced it would launch its first EV in 2028.

Thus, Lamborghini insists it is not in a hurry to push for future electrification. In addition, the brand is also awaiting clearer regulatory prospects in the European Union due to a review of the bloc's ban on the sale of new internal combustion engine cars starting in 2035 currently scheduled for 2026.

The concept of the Lanzador carrying a style with a GT 2+2 seating type which has a high ground clearance, presents sporty driving and is very fun when driving.

This car will be equipped with a double electric motor on each double to ensure electric drive can work optimally in all conditions and move all wheels with an active e-torque vector on the rear axis.
