Nissan Books Sales Of 920,000 Units In The US, Rogue And Sentra Become Terlaris In 2024

JAKARTA - Nissan announced the proceeds from its sales during 2024 in the United States (US) with a book of 924,008 units, an increase of 2.8 percent compared to the previous year.

Launching from the manufacturer's official website, Monday, January 6, this achievement was driven by the explosion of demand on several models such as Ariya which increased by 47 percent or 19,798 units while obtaining the best annual sales since its launch in 2022.

The Rogue SUV model obtained Nissan's best sales in Uncle Sam's country during 2024 with 245,724 units, down 9.5 percent.

Meanwhile, the second best-selling model fell to the Center with a record 152,659 units, up 39.8 percent, and the third place fell to Altima by obtaining 113,898 units, down 11 percent.

Filling out two places in the top five, there was Pathfinder which sold up to 80,915 units, an increase of 12.8 percent, and Kicks amounted to 77,356 units, an increase of 15.8 percent.

For the high-performance car segment, Nissan Z managed to lead with sales of 3,164 units, an increase of 78.7 percent, which was attended by GT-R totaling 267 units but decreased by 31.5 percent.

Meanwhile for Infiniti brands, this premium brand pocketed sales of up to 58,070 units during 2024, down 10.2 percent compared to the previous year.

The best-selling model for the Infiniti brand is QX60 with 27,808 units (down 5.4 percent), followed by QX50 with 10,722 units (up 7.9 percent), and QX80 with a total of 10,339 units (down 18.6 percent).

The impressive results were followed by Nissan's achievement in the fourth quarter of 2024 by recording sales of 222,484 units, an increase of 10.3 percent compared to 2023 in the same period.

During the late quarter of last year, Rogue managed to lead sales with 56,568 units successfully sold or down 6.3 percent compared to 2023 in the same period, followed by Sentra with 28,927 units (up 43.7 percent), and Altima with 27,219 units (down 23.4 percent).
