Exceeding Target, Xiaomi Sends 130,000 SU7 Electric Sedans In A Year

JAKARTA - A well-known technology manufacturer from China who also took part in the New Energy Vehicle (NEV) segment, namely Xiaomi, recorded a slick achievement in its first year of presence by completing the delivery target.

Quoting from the Carnewschina page, Monday, December 30, this Chinese brand managed to reach the delivery of its first electric car unit, namely SU7 as many as 130,000 units for a full year, and in November alone it had delivered as many as 30,000 units.

The brand, which is known for its leading technology in the smartphone segment, takes 275 days to complete its delivery target. Previously, this brand only targeted 100,000 cars to ship, and the target was to rise after production.

In the first month after the sale, Xiaomi sent 10,000 units to customers, then the shipments always went up every month. In fact, during December, based on data from EV DataTracker, sales reached 16,328 units.

As is known, Xiaomi SU7 is an electric sedan launched in March this year, where the car is priced from 215,900 yuan or the range of IDR 478 million which is quite attractive to local automotive lovers.

In specifications, Xiaomi SU7 has a length dimension of 4,997 mm, a width of 1,963 mm, a height of 1,455 mm with a wheelbase distance of 3,000 mm. This car comes with five variants, for a choice of basis equipped with a 73.6 kWh battery that produces 299 hp of power, armed with a battery limited can cover a distance of 700 km in CLTC counts.

Meanwhile, the Pro variant offers a 94.3 kWh battery pack which is capable of providing a distance of up to 830 km in one charge. Finally, there is the highest trim equipped with a 101 kWh battery which is able to cover a distance of up to 810 km per charge.
