This time, a subsidiary of an electric vehicle company from the GAC Group, GAC Aion, officially entered Vietnam's automotive market, following in the footsteps of a number of Chinese brands that are aggressively expanding abroad.

"GAC Aion opened its first showroom in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, and launched the Aion Y Plus and Aion ES models, with the delivery of units to the first local owners," the company said in a statement quoted by CNevpost, Friday, October 18.

Not only presenting an electric car model, GAC Aion is also committed to providing full-sale services to charging facilities, in order to provide convenience for electric car users in the country.

"Currently, GAC Aion has established strategic cooperation with most of Vietnam's charge service providers, as well as utilizing its own infrastructure and partners to serve consumers," the company added.

Furthermore, this manufacturer plans to complete the entire network of dealers in Vietnam with DC and AC charging stations, to ensure the convenience of electric car users.

In terms of price, Aion ES is priced at around 788,000,000 or around Rp. 484 million, while Aion Y Plus is released at a price of 888,000,000 or around Rp. 546 million.
