This BYD Dealer Targets Sales Of 100 Units Per Month

JAKARTA - A well-known automotive manufacturer from China, namely BYD, continues to add a network of dealers in Indonesia, the latest to inaugurate 9 simultaneous dealers as a full-sale service.

The simultaneous inauguration of dealers was carried out by PT BYD Motor Indonesia together with PT Arista Elektrica Indonesia (Arista Group). The locations are in various places, ranging from Pondok Indah, Kelapa Gading, Surabaya to Bekasi.

Thus Arista currently has 17 BYD dealer networks. On this occasion, BYD President Director Arista Ali Hanafiah revealed the target of selling dealers every month.

"Actually, each branch is of course trying as much as possible. If the number is, based on market predictions in this region we should at least be above 100 on average per month, but this is in the process of introducing and penetrating to the market. Relative numbers, we will pursue but we will lock the market share," he said when met in the Bekasi area, some time ago.

Furthermore, he said, talking about sales in automotive itself is not only the amount of numbers, but how much BYD contributes compared to other brands. If the numbers are small, but the dominance is big, it becomes something good.

He said that from a demographic point of view, it was still the real idol at the beginning that Seal was the most loved by consumers around Bekasi.

Young families who have established income live in this area. Generally they are entrepreneurs, executives and some still have employees and so on, but occupy a better position. The presence of MPV electricity M6 is also a good thing.

"After the BYD M6 became a very large market, and those who visited the showroom looked crowded and wanted to try BYD M6," he concluded.

As is known, currently BYD already has a total of four models. Starting from Dolphin, Atto 3, Seal and finally there is M6. BYD's sales are also relatively good, with the claim each month reaching more than 2,000 units.
