Indomobils Try All Citroen Outlets In Indonesia To Present EV Battery Change Services

JAKARTA Not long ago, PT Indomobil National Distributor inaugurated one of the Citroen Experience Center outlets located in TB Simatupang, South Jakarta.

Not only offering 3S (Sales, Service, Sparepart) facilities, the single agent holding the Citroen brand said that this service has been globally standardized and has various needs that can meet consumer needs.

One of the services presented at this outlet is that it is equipped with a complete replacement of electric car batteries while reducing the concerns of e-C3 users in Indonesia.

Aftersales Department Head of PT Indomobil National Distributor Andre Oktavianus, said this service has a level 2 status where it can change EV batteries.

"The service at TB Simatupang is the fourth Citroen Experience Center and has entered Level 2 for electric vehicle workshops, so it can take care of changing batteries for EVs," Andre said when met by the media, last Saturday in Jakarta.

He also added that now all official Citroen services in Indonesia are being pursued to enter Level 2. However, this takes time because careful equipment and training are needed.

In addition, Citroen is still not certain whether its services in Indonesia will have Level 3 status, namely replacing EV battery cells because they encounter various obstacles.

"Meanwhile, Level 3, which is to replace electric car battery cells currently not in Asia, now most of them are still in Europe. But we are still in the process of applying for permits so we can get training," said Andre.

As previously reported by VOI, Indomobil has presented a 'Citroen Experience Center' at TB Simatupang to get closer to consumers in South Jakarta. This is one of the 22 official outlet networks of the French brand in the country.

This is the fourth Citroen Experience Center network to be present in Indonesia after being on Jl. MT Haryono, Jl. Halim Perdana Kusuma, and Pantai Indah Kapuk which was inaugurated some time ago.

This facility has a building area measuring about 1,000 m2 located on Jl RA Kartini II-S Kav. 7, Pondok Pinang, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta.

This dealer also provides an EV charging pile facility service, making it easier for Citroen e-C3 owners to charge. In addition, there is a special floor that functions as a stockyard or vehicle unit storage area.
