Celebrate The 3rd Anniversary, COLLECTION Encourages The Adoption Of Electric Cars In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Electric Car Community (KOLEKSI) continues to grow rapidly and has just celebrated its 3rd birthday on September 14, 2024 at the Ibis Styles Hotel, South Tangerang BSD.

Starting from a small initiative in 2021, KOLEKSI now has more than 200 members from all over Indonesia, with 90 percent of its members domiciled in the Greater Jakarta area and united for the vision and mission with the motto: 'Go Green, Save Earth'.

In a short time, KOLEKSI has succeeded in becoming the largest electric car community in Indonesia and making a significant contribution in encouraging the adoption of electric vehicles. Through various educational programs, policy advocacy, and social activities, COLLECTION proves that small steps can create a big impact on the environment.

"The existence of this COLLECTION has contributed to the acceleration of EV adoption in the country which is supported by work programs that are carried out regularly in various fields including law, technology, education and literacy, events and other programs involving the government and the private sector," said Chairman of KOLEKSI, Arwani Hidayat, through an official statement received on Sunday, September 15.

"The collection is an EV community which is also officially registered as a member of the Indonesian motorcycle Association (IMI) which has full support from IMI," said the chairman, Arwani Hidayat.

It does not stop here, COLLECTION also continues to work with all parties and stakeholders to encourage environmental conservation and achieve a more beautiful environment with various activities, such as education on the use of green and clean energy, education on waste management.

"Including today's opportunity (14/9), COLLECTION collects electronic waste (e-waste) and various very positive activities according to the theme of the 3rd COLLECTION Anniversary, namely 'Small Step, Big Impact'," said Chairman of the Committee for Organizing the 3rd COLLECTION Anniversary, KPAA Emir Ferdian Notoprojo.

Emir also said that the 3rd Anniversary of COLLECTION this time was also accompanied by the inaugural National Conference (Munas) in the context of the new management election for the 2024-2027 term. Where Arwani Hidayat was re-elected to serve as General Chair of COLLECTION.

On this occasion, Emir also expressed his gratitude for the support and involvement of various parties, both government and private, in the success of today's activities in contributing to preserving the environment through small activities that have a major impact on the environment.
