Hyundai Ioniq 5 N Buyers Can Bring Home Charger Level 2 Home

Hyundai Ioniq 5N has become the latest phenomenon in the electric vehicle (EV) industry globally. This car received a positive response thanks to its above-average performance and has a number of advanced features that can attract the attention of automotive lovers.

Not only offering fun performance, the manufacturer with the 'H' lopsided logo also intends to make it easier for buyers by offering a Level 2 home charger for the 2025 model Ioniq 5 N in the United States (US) market.

Launching from InsideEVs, Monday, September 9, buyers only buy the crossover worth US$67,495 (Rp1.04 billion) and will automatically get a Level 2 home charger for free.

But for buyers who don't want the device, Hyundai has an alternative option, namely a coupon worth 450 US dollars (Rp 6.9 million) which can also be converted into credit for the ChargePoint network across the US.

Buyers of Ioniq 5 N 2025 have 90 days to exchange coupons or charging credit after the start of the purchase. Customers who just bought the car before the start of this program can exchange it until October 14.

ChargePoint is the largest public electric vehicle charging network in the United States, with more than 35,000 locations and nearly 65,000 ports. However, most of the plugs are at Level 2 (61,000), with only about 3,000 DC ports, according to the US Department of Energy Alternative Fuels Data Center.

Level 2 chargers are connected to an alternative 240-volt current source and can typically power a maximum of 11 kilowatts for charging convenience throughout the night.

The presence of Ioniq 5 N is Hyundai's first step in planning electrification and is expected to bring more EVs developed by the N high performance division.

This car has a dual electric motor with a power of 600 dk and a torque of 748 Nm which can be increased to 641 dk and a torque of 770 Nm if the N Grin Boost feature is activated.

Thus, this car has the capability of 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds with a maximum speed of 260 km/hour.

Now the car is present in the Indonesian market and will be produced locally (CKD) which is offered at a price of around Rp. 1.3 billion.
