JAKARTA - As a sustainable support for the next generation of the nation, PT Krama Yudha Tiga Berlian Motors (KTB), the official distributor of the Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MTFBC) in Indonesia, donated 1 (one) unit of Mitsubishi Fuso Fighter X with EURO 4 technology to SMK Darussalam, Makassar.

The sixth vehicle unit donation given by KTB to SMK Darussalam Makassar is also part of a series of corporate social responsibility activities, namely KTB FUSO Vocal Education Program (KTB FUSO VEP) which is run by KTB during fiscal year 2023-2024.

On the same occasion, Director of Administration & HR Division of PT KTB Prasetio Hartono, said that this donation was a manifestation of KTB's efforts to improve the quality of vocational education, in the equivalent automotive sector in various regions in Indonesia.

"Previously, we have given donations to five Islamic boarding schools assisted by KTB in Sumatra and Java. This year we are moving to Sulawesi to provide wider benefits from this program in order to improve the quality of the next generation of the nation," said Prasetio.

As is known, KTB FUSO VEP is a program that has been run by KTB since 2017 which includes certified automotive training cooperation for teachers and vocational school students, facilitating field work practices in the Mitsubishi FUSO official Dealer network, to vehicle unit donations for practical learning facilities. SMK Darussalam Makassar is 1 in 15 KTB assisted vocational schools that have received benefits from the KTB FUSO VEP program.

After submitting the donation, KTB also carried out knowledge sharing and career coaching which aims to provide industrial-based knowledge as provision for Darussalam Vocational School students in welcoming the world of work.
