Toyota Fortuner In Malaysia Now Has A Kit GR Option, What Are Offered?

Toyota reportedly released Fortuner with a Gazoo Racing (GR) bodylet package for the Fortuner SUV on the Malaysian market and can now be ordered.

Reporting from Paultan, Tuesday, August 20, this package is available in the two lowest variants of Fortuner, namely 2.4 AT diesel and 2.7 SRZ AT 4x4 gasoline. Then, what are you offering on this bodykit?

This GR package is similar to what Fortuner has to offer in Indonesia which includes additional accessories such as a front spoiler with a body, a DRL LED light, a chrome fog light trim, a back skirt with a black diffuser.

However, this package does not provide some accessories such as grips, backdoors, and 18-inch special rims with a special GR emblem.

In addition, this kit also does not get elements of sports and branding GR on the inside such as the steering wheel, starter buttons, head support, and special floor mats.

Although offered several special elements, mechanical elements on Fortuner have not changed. Type 2.4 AT diesel offers a 2GD-FTV 2.4 liter turbodiesel-4-cylinder engine that produces up to 150 ps of power and 400 Nm of torque.

Meanwhile, the 2.7 SRZ AT 4x4 gasoline variant has a 2TR-FE 2.7 liter naturally-assisted 4-cylinder engine which offers 166 ps of personnel and 245 Nm of torque. Both are offered with automatic transmission options and six accelerations.

Talking about the price, customers only need to increase the cost of 3,990 ringgit (Rp14.1 million). The 2.4 AT 4x4 diesel variant is offered worth 195,880 ringgit (Rp694.1 million) and 2.7 SRZ AT 4x4 gasoline for 202,880 ringgit (Rp718.9 million).

For the Indonesian market, PT Toyota-Astra Motor (TAM) offers Fortuner GR Sport at prices ranging from IDR 613.9 million for type 4x2 2.7 AT until the most expensive reaches IDR 745.3 million for 4x4 2.8 AT Two Tone.
