Tesla Cybertruck Greets Canadian Market, This Is The Price

JAKARTA - The presence of Tesla Cybertruck is certainly eagerly awaited by many people after being officially sold in the United States last year, now the electric pickup is already present in Canada.

Quoting from the Arenaev page, Tuesday, August 13, Canada is the new second home of Cybertruck and Tesla has set a price that is no different from in the United States and this will also apply in all countries later.

Regarding prices in Canada, Tesla set starting from 137,990 Canadian dollars or around Rp1.59 billion for the All-Wheel Drive Foundation Series variant, and for the Cyberbeast Foundation Series it touched 165,990 Canadian dollars (Rp1.92 billion).

However, this price does not include additional taxes, when you have received a tax the price can reach 150,000 Canadian dollars (Rp1.73 billion) for the cheapest version, and the most expensive is in the amount of 200,000 Canadian dollars (Rp2.3 billion).

When compared to the prices of other pickup trucks such as Ford F-150 Lightning and Chevrolet Silverado EV, the price of the Cybertruck is much higher. For Ford F -150 Lightning ranges from 59,995 Canadian dollars (Rp694 million) while the Silverado EV starts at USD 75,000 Canada (Rp868 million).

Although futuristic Cybertruck designs and impressive performance are of course attractive, high prices are likely to limit its popularity in Canada. For those looking forward to more affordable options, a cheaper rear wheel driven Cybertruck is expected to be available in 2025.

Meanwhile, shipments in Canada are expected to start between October and November 2024.
